A stock ECX50 has about double the HP as a stock DRX50 and is also much lighter. If you line them up side by side (TT, Drags, Flat Track, MX) it dosen't matter, the Cobra will out run the DRR50 hands down.

"Stock" I can see that for sure.

We cannot catch them for nothing, I have to agree the Cobras run like scalded dawgs!! We are not giving up but man its tough, The Cobras for sure should have their own class like before (Single Speed) as its nearly unfair to have them in the same class as 50cc CVT bikes. I have been chalking it up as long as we are the first CVT we are doing good, Don't know what else to do?

You are very limited with the 50cc cvt, the design of the motor with its horizontal arrangement just does not make enough power in a 50cc format. HOWEVER once you are able to go into the 70cc arena, things are different. A built 70 cvt vs a cobra with a big bore kit, is a more fair fight. Our 70's have done well vs them. 50 cvt, just wont happen.
